Halloween 2008

Landon is going to be a little farmer for Halloween this year. We had everything except for the boots, and boy does he love his new cowboy boots! Bo and I can remember as children running around in our cowboy boots even in the summertime wearing shorts. Enjoy the pictures of our little farmer!

Dan-pa's Drums

"Dan-pa" is my dad and Landon's Grandpa.....except it comes out more like "Dan-pa." When I was in high school, I gave my dad a black & white poster of a baby playing the drums. The baby has this great expression of concentration and sheer effort and has his drum sticks crossed in the air. Dad mentioned how he would like to have a picture like that of Landon one day. Well, today is my dad's birthday, and he will be getting a 16"x20" black and white poster of Landon Cole playing his drums.

Dallas Defenders Football Club

Bo plays football for the Dallas Defenders, which is part of the National Public Safety Football League. They play for charity, and in the case of the Defenders, their proceeds go to the Boys & Girls Club. They had their first home game this weekend and defeated a team out of Austin, the Central Texas Wolfpack, 50-20! Bo plays cornerback, and had 7 tackles, 1 interception, and ran the ball back for 40 yards. Not bad for a guy whose high school football days ended 10 years ago!

Pumpkin Patch!

We visited the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch Sunday morning. The weather was lovely, cool and breezy. Mimi & "Dan-pa" came along to assist with photography. There were tons of pumpkins, bounce houses, a hay maze, hay rides, and a barrel tractor ride. Landon was a bit sleepy and seemed to be coming down with a little cold, so smiles were hard to catch. Regardless, we had a great time enjoying a beautiful fall day.

Our New Blogspot

Hello friends and family! As many of you know, I've been sending out updates and pictures via e-mail. I may continue to do that, but I thought this would be an easier way to post updates and new pictures. Our little boy grows and changes so very quickly, and with so many of our friends and family in other parts of the country, this should be a great way to stay updated. I hope you enjoy our blogspot!
