Easter 2012

Landon had 4 Easter egg hunts, so I thought his interest would decline by the end. It really didn't though. Even little Rock loved it and quickly figured out what he was supposed to do with all those eggs. He called them "balls"......Landon did the same thing.
As you can imagine, I have tons of pictures from each celebration, so I'll just pick out a few....which is actually MANY! Sorry, it's impossible to only show a few.

More Water Fun with Neighbors

Bo and I had worked all day in the yard. Clearing out old mulch and last season's annuals. Adding new mulch, drought-tolerant perennials, and some new seasonal color. We all know it's hard work. We grabbed the little swimming pool and put some water in it earlier in the day...in hopes that it would be warm once Rock woke up from his nap. Within minutes of Landon dipping his toes into the still-freezing water, his friends from down the street showed up with their swimsuits on and ready for some fun! I enjoyed watching them play together. It was a lovely end to a day full of hard work.

Spring Fever

The temperatures are on the rise....makes me worry about this summer and its impending drought. Nonetheless, kids don't care about droughts and unseasonably warm weather. They're just glad to get out and enjoy an old-fashioned sprinkler!
